Black Public Media is NBPC's online video streaming and new media distribution enterprise. At blackpublicmedia.org viewers can watch download and listen to original new media content, full-length streams of select NBPC documentaries, and subscribe to a variety of blogs, vodcasts and podcasts.

In a truly networked world, more voices have access to public media, and public media exists in many more venues with the help of innovative technology. The job for the fellows recruited for the Public Media Corps will be to spend one year activating and sustaining social media engagement in their local community, reaching for audiences that too often do not see themselves in public media or any media.
NBPC participated in the production of "In Performance at the White House: A Celebration of Music from the Civil Rights Movement," a PBS music special in the White House East Room that WETA produced in association with The GRAMMY Museum®, AEG Ehrlich Ventures and the National Black Programming Consortium (NBPC).
"Africa: Open For Business" probes into the world of successful African businesses and exposes myths while debunking fears surrounding doing business in Africa.
